About Me
My name is Melissa Thomson (formerly Falco) and I've been a freelance makeup artist based in New Jersey since 2014. My love for makeup began at a young age-- picture a 3-year-old with a Little Tikes vanity and a killer collection of Lip Smackers. I have a Makeup Artistry Certificate through Montclair State University in partnership with Bobbi Brown Cosmetics. I worked for NYX Professional Makeup for 3 years and was one of their 13 national Pro Artists. My artistic style is "natural glam"- I want my clients to have that wow moment when they see their makeup while still feeling like themselves. I have worked with Melissa for many important occasions including my sisters wedding, my engagement photos, my bridal shower and most recently my wedding. It was a 95 degree day with an outside ceremony and outside photos, and mine and my bridesmaids makeup didn’t budge! From 8 am to midnight it looked as though she had just put it on.
Each and every time Melissa does a beautiful job and I am beyond happy with the results. She is extremely professional, time conscious, and thorough. She does a fantastic job of taking my vision and making it a reality.
